This Cookie Policy explains how Blazing Cacti LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with the Mix It Up websites and online services under *.mixitupapp.com (the Website) and the Mix It Up online app (the Online App). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We use essential cookies that are required for core functionality in the Online App (for example, sign‑in, session security, CSRF protection).
We use analytics cookies on the Website to understand traffic and improve performance.
We do not use advertising, remarketing, or social tracking cookies.
We do not operate a cookie preferences center and we do not block analytics pending consent. You can manage cookies in your browser or via provider opt‑outs.

The desktop application (WPF) does not use browser cookies. Telemetry and diagnostics in the desktop app are collected via OS and application instrumentation, not cookies.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, SDKs, and device identifiers that may serve comparable purposes. We refer to these collectively as cookies in this Policy.

3. What we use (and what we don’t)

Cookies and Analytics. Our website operations are U.S.-based. We may use analytics consistent with U.S. law. We do not operate a consent banner or segment by country.

We classify our use as follows:

1) Essential cookies (Online App)

Used to operate secure sessions and protect against abuse.

Purpose: authentication state, session continuity, CSRF protection, load balancing, and fraud prevention.
Who sets them: first‑party (Mix It Up).
Examples (names may vary by build): session_id, __Host-session, __RequestVerificationToken or equivalent anti‑CSRF token, and load‑balancer route cookies.
Duration: session‑only or up to 1 year for remember‑me functionality, where offered.

2) Analytics cookies (Website only)

Used to understand site usage, diagnose issues, and improve content. We do not use these for cross‑site advertising or “sharing.”

Google Analytics (GA4): first‑party analytics cookies such as:
- _ga (up to 2 years),
- _ga_* (up to 2 years),
- _gid (about 24 hours). GA helps measure page views, events, referrers, and similar traffic metrics. We do not enable Ads features, Google Signals, or data sharing for advertising.

We do not use these categories

Advertising/remarketing cookies: not set by us.
Social media tracking pixels for ads: not deployed.
Cross‑context behavioral advertising: not performed.

Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies can break sign‑in and core Online App features.
Google Analytics opt‑outs. You can use browser add‑ons and GA opt‑out tools provided by Google.

Some third‑party services embedded in the Website or Online App may set their own cookies when you interact with them (for example, video hosts or identity providers). We do not control those cookies. Please review the third party’s cookie and privacy policies.

We do not present a cookie consent banner and we do not gate analytics pending consent. If local law requires consent for analytics in your region, you may choose to disable analytics via browser settings and GA opt‑out tools.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the Effective date at the top. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, a short banner on the Website).
