This command displays a random cat gif. This command uses Cat as a service (https://cataas.com/) to display the images. NOTE: Since this is an external web service, please read their terms of service and do not abuse or spam their API.

Doesn't work but you can replace the WebRequest URL with https://api.thecatapi.com/v1/images/search and the json value name with 0\url thats a good one.

What worked for me: delete the JSON section, I did not need it. In Overlay, put https://cataas.com/cat/gif . That's it. Regular images apparently didn't work, but the gifs do! And let's be honest, that's what we want, innit? ;)

CaptainTenille's solution didn't work for me, maybe because it's different now. For me, it was enough to put https://cataas.com/cat in Overlay, and I didn't need the JSON action, so I deleted it and it worked. Nobody asked but also if you want that images fit the height or width put this in the link: https://cataas.com/cat?(width or height)=(number of said size in your streaming software) all of this without the parenthesis, only works for images, if you want your gifs to fit you put the number in Mix It Up options.

Just echoing what others have said after I finally got it working... [1] Web Request Action: Change JSON Value Name to _id [2] Overlay action: Change Image Path to https://cataas.com/cat/$caturl [also] set Width and Height
